Traditional Tours
Experience the wonders of the cave as the first visitors did back in 1940. A tour guide will lead your group through the cave and interpret rooms along the way, providing a scientific and historic perspective to one of Wisconsin’s natural wonders.
Tours last between 45min and 1hr
Museum-Style Tours
An educational adventure of your own making. These tours allow you to walk through the cave at your own pace while tour guides wait in each room.
Tours last 45min on average, but you’re free to enjoy the cave up until closing time.
Museum-Style Tours are available seasonally.
Group Rates
Group Discounts are available for groups that are:
- 20 or more people, AND
- Reserved at least 2 weeks in advance

Membership
Keys to the Cave membership allows cardholders free, unlimited entry to the cave for a full year during regular business hours.
Memberships are considered a Ticket Upgrade and must be purchased on the day of your ticket purchase. Online ticket holders may purchase a membership on the day of visitation.
What to Expect
- Tours walk 0.6mi (1km) from start to finish
- Pathways are well lit and paved, not muddy or slick
- 7 staircases throughout, largest having 34 steps
- Handrails along all stairs and most pathways
- Cool, damp conditions 50°F (10°C) year round
