Tour the Cave!
As a public health precaution due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), Cave of the Mounds, including the park grounds, is temporarily closed to the public. All events and public programs are canceled. (We will be in contact with groups that have reservations.) Cave of the Mounds will continue to follow the guidance of local public health officials to assess the situation and will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Guided Tours Daily Year ‘Round
One-hour guided tours of this geologic wonder depart every day of the year (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve and Day). Visitors enjoy the Cave’s constant 50-degree temperature that makes the cave feel cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
