Tickets for Cave After Dark – Harvest Hootenanny are $30 and go on sale August 20. Celebrate the fall harvest with a subterranean hootenanny! Enjoy floor-stompin’ folk tunes in our historic barn featuring Ken Lonnquist. Savor local flavors from Mt. Horeb’s Sunn Cafè. Satisfy your taste buds with an old fashioned fall corn roast. Head underground for an at-your-own-pace Cave experience and sample delicious hard ciders along the tour route.
Island Orchard Apple Lavender
Island Orchard Apple Lavender Cider begins with an early harvest apple cider base, which has a light body and is low in tannins. The apple base is then infused with freshly dried culinary lavendar buds, grown by Fragrant Isle on Washington Island.
Ciderboys Grand Mimosa
Sunshine always dances here. Some call this fruitful pairing surreal – ruby red apples uniting with succulent juicy oranges. Unexpected? You bet. Sweet yet tart – tasty and unique. Nothing stops the passion found in a Grand Mimosa.
Angry Orchard Old Fashioned
The Old Fashioned is made with a blend of American apples and is aged on oak with dried tart cherries, California grown navel orange peel, and charred bourbon barrel staves, offering citrus and cherry aromas with a bright apple flavor and slight vanilla notes. It has lasting tannins and a full, round mouthfeel.
Strongbow Apple Rose
A clear, light-coral pink appearance and sparkling rosé-wine-like effervescence with apple notes. Light and refreshing taste with a pleasant tartness balanced by fruity notes of red-fleshed apple and pear.
Starcut Squishy Cherry Cider
Squishy is a semi-sweet cider made with Michigan cherries. Ruby red in color with appealing sweet and sugary aromatics, this cider’s initial flavors of dark fruit shift toward a bold tartness that dries the palate between tastes.
Brix Craft Cider
Enjoy a very simple, very local and very special craft cider from Barneveld, Wisconsin in the Driftless region of Southwest Wisconsin.
It would not be a hootenanny without some barn stompin’ folk music! Ken Lonnquist and fellow musicians will share original songs celebrating Wisconsin, the environment and more in our historic Barn Discovery Center.
There is no better way to celebrate the fall harvest than with a old fashioned corn roast!
