Camp Brigham: Summer Leadership Camp
Climate Corps Youth Leadership Camp: July 27-31 14-16 Year Olds
This program has three integrated components: leadership training, nature-based problem solving practice, and environmental stewardship planning. Leadership training will focus on the core areas of leadership, character, teamwork, building relationships, taking initiative, setting goals, and solving problems. These lessons are explored through a variety of individual and group activities and exercises. Integrated into a number of these lessons are environmental applications that allow youth to practice nature-based problem solving by using a variety of scenarios. Finally, youth are guided in the completion of a specific “take home” environmental stewardship action plan, which allows them to outline how they will address an environmental problem or issue in their homes, schools and communities.
