 The Cave Tour: This is the heart of our experience. The Cave Tour allows your group to be in a “living” cave environment. Guided by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, your group will see speleothems as they grow, explore passageways, identify in-cave fossils and examine limestone rock.  SpeleoQUEST (Cave Mini-Course)Unearth yourselves and go deeper into cave science with this amazing program. Find out how limestone, caverns, and speleothems form and develop.  PaleoTALES (Fossil Mini-Course): Dig in and discover a life story - hidden within a rock! This program provides a hands-on science experience where your group will learn about, uncover and identify authentic fossil specimens.  RocksROCK (Rock Mini-Course):The RocksROCK program introduces your group to the basic components of our earth. Each participant will leave with a bag of their very own rock and mineral specimens great for follow-up in the classroom, at the Scout Den, or wherever your learning takes place.  Mound Bound (Introductory Orienteering): Get your bearings with the Mound Bound orienteering program! We’ll show your group how to build team skills while learning to navigate using a compass. Your explorers will use compasses to find their way through our orienteering course. Jump to the Group Tour Rate Sheet.
Mound Bound MAX (Intermediate Orienteering): Can your group endure the MAX? Designed the experienced compass user, higher-level compass skills are developed while using a topographic map to set, find and walk bearings. Jump to the Group Tour Rate Sheet.
Mound Bound Xtreme (Off Season Orienteering): Your group goes orienteering above and INSIDE the Cave. Surviving winter weather in Wisconsin requires respect - so dress warm and get XTREME! Available November 15 to March 14 with advanced reservation only. Jump to the Group Tour Rate Sheet. |
 Geo Journey (Geology Mini-Course):
This is a comprehensive program designed to lead your group through the basic concepts within the field of geology. Rock types, fossil formation, and geologic time are all investigated. Special Educational Packages
Your group will squeal with delight as they mine at the outdoor sluice for gemstones and fossils! Each student receives their own “rough” and uncover hidden treasures. Combine the SpeleoQUEST, PaleoTALES, & RocksROCK programs for an extended day of fun and discovery! Experience the Cave both above and below ground.
